The UCH (Universities and Colleges of Hull) Sharkettes are the attractive side of the team. They shiver on the side line for most of the match only to perform complicated half time routines, show a bit of leg and excitedly shout 'WHIP-IT'! Working hard inbetween games to create and learn new rouitnes, the girls (and guy) are able to transform this to competitions in the spring months.

Competitions

BCA National Championships:
Held every April, the National Championship attacts all the top teams and age ranges from around the country as well as invitational performances from international teams.

Future Cheer Regionals:
Held every Feb/March, regionals are a fun competition which attracts some of the best unio squads in the country.

UKCA National Championships:
Held every Easter at the NEC in Birmingham. On a similar scale to the BCA Championships - UKCA also have a University category.

Scottish, English and Irish Opens:
These three annual open competitons attract teams from all over Europe, with guest performances from Pro Squads. There are also clinics and training sessions to help squads improve and develop. UKCA Rules. Held every Autumn.

The Northern and Southern 'Classics':
British Regional competitons, held to highlight excellence in smaller teams. BCA Rules.

Tasis England Competition:
American International Community Schools sponsered competition.
BCA Rules and Judges, held in Febuary in London.

WCA European Classic
Invitational Summer Event held in Europe. WCA Rules and Judges.

International Championships:
A bi-annual invitational event, with the champion squads from 11 countries represented. International Rules, hosted in America.
